The Bus Trip Yes, we did take a bus ride all the way from Oakland University to New York City. The ride was definetly long and sometimes uncomfortable but overall it wasn't that bad. |
The Shopping Oh the shopping! From the moment we got off the bus, almost to the very end there was shopping! I couldn't believe how many stores there are in New York City and how many of them I actually went into! |
|
The Food $$$!!! Those are the thoughts when I first looked at the menu of almost all the restraunts down there! The food was good but definetely expensive. I think I spend the majority of my money on eating! |
The Sites New York has so many unbelieable sites! From the huge spectacular stores to the famous landmarks, New York offers a thrilling visual rollercoaster that never seemed to stop! |
|
The Hotel We were definetely chilling at the Holiday Inn on 32nd and Broadway. The Hotel was a lot better than I was expecting and overall there were no major complaints about the room except for the roomates that we had to share it with... |
The Roomates One would think that the roomate sitution would not been that big of a thing on the trip. However, it was big! I consider myself a very open and accepting person but these two girls challanged my nevers to an extreme level! |
New York, New York!
Frank Sinatra knew what he was singing about when he sang that song and all I have to say is, WOW! what a city! This was my first time to New York and I had a blast! I owe must of it to Kristin and Cassandra who somehow dealt with my stupidity and inexperience in a big city. In the end though I had tons of fun. I ate Spinache and liked it! Shopped more than a guy should admit! And fell love with a city that has created an everlasting image in my mind. So this page is dedicated to that trip! So look around at the pics I took! Ask any questions and hopefully if you have never been to New York my experience will inspire you to visit this wonderfull city!
Pictures
The most obvious question from trip is did I take pictures? The answer is of course I did! Although Krisitin insisted on not looking so touristy I continued to snap as many pictures as I could. The final picture count on the digital camera came out to something just over 100 pictures! I was a little dissapointed in this number and the fact that alsmost all of them are scenery pictures. There are only a few with people in them. I will definetely fix this on my next trip! And for the record, there will be another trip! New York city is just to cool not to go back! For all my pictures I created their own seperate section so feel free to look at them and even share some of you own pictures! I would love to compare! There are four pages so what are you waiting for!
