Dorko's MindManager Video
This was my first Camtasia Video presenting a very good overview of MindManager. This is what really got the ball rolling in terms of my love for MindManager! It demonstrates how I use MindManager to manage many of my classes. Every student that is looking for a visual approach for managing their classes should check this video out!
Setting Goals with MindManager
In This Video I showed off how to use MindManager to create a flexible and visually appealing weekly to do list. I sitll love this feature of MindManager and is one of the main reasons why it is the first program I load up just about every day!
MindManager Takes Over the Desktop
This video was created to show how to create a dynmaic MindManager map right on your desktop! Since I always like to have MindManager open this was a neat way for MindManager to sit right there on the desktop without even having to open it! You can navigate it and view all your maps right from the desktop. I even illustrate a quick run through nf how to use MindManager to organize your RSS feeds.
MindManager Takes Over the Desktop Demo
This Dorko Demo goes over the procedure for making a MindManager Active Desktop. From creating the actual map with Smart Map Parts and RSS feeds to the actual creation of the web page itself I help you work through the entire process so you too can let MindManager Take Over the Desktop!

ResultsManager Setup
When I first tried ResultsManger I felt a little overwhelmed and frustrated with the robustness and versatility of it. Howerver Kyle McFarlin, from Gyronix, offtered to meet with me and disccus the many features of ResultsManager and assisted in the implementation of it into my GTD lifestyle. I think the meeting went very well and we connected on many levels. For one, we both are from the same area of Rochester Hills Michigan, or the Roach as the kids like to call it. We also both enjoy leading the way for the adoption of new technology and making these connections allowed us to share our thoughs quite effectively. After our meeting I was not prancing around with my credit card in hand ready to surrender it to Gyronix, but I do have a much greater appreciation for ResultsManager. It really is not just a “$285 plug-in” as I referred to it previously. I think that as my career progresses down its path (whatever that path may be) I will end up eventually having a nice reunion with ResultsManager. At that time I will embrace it with open arms and allow it to play a more dominant role in my organization of projects and activities than my current situation permits.
eBooks - Can Lighten Your Book Bag and Your Wallet!
I really wanted to go all out on this article to provide a complete overview of eBooks for students since there is still a lot of unanswered questions about them. However the semester has started so I decided to post what I had and hopefully you can get an idea of my desire to work with eBooks as the semester progresses. As I write about in the article I will be experimenting with two eBooks from two different companies that come in two different formats. I will post experiences with these eBooks over the course of the semester in my blog but for now take a glace at my first article on ebooks for students!
